Public High School Outreach

On Monday morning, before Daniel returned to Tegucigalpa, we went to a local high school here to do some outreach.   We were supposed to go last week but the school was on strike - so we were not able to go until this week.  We had a great time ministering to the students and sharing how the Lord has done great works in our lives.    Here are some pictures of our time there!

This guy's story is truly amazing. He is 23 years old and just got out of jail last year. He shared his story about his experiences in a gang here, being put in maximum security prison, finding Jesus, and dedicating his life to tell others about his love and grace. His story moved me to my core - he has so much passion for the Lord ... it is amazing to see lives truly transformed. He shared a song after his testimony that he wrote from his jail cell - about God's grace and power. It was so awesome!

Another amazing story - Danny shared that at 10 years old he began trafficking drugs here in Tegucigalpa. He also shared about his gang experiences, prison experience, how he found Jesus, and what his life has been like since. It is amazing to see him so humble before a crowd of youth - some who are probably involved in or facing the same things that he did - and tell them that there is an answer and way out of their lifestyle. It is just amazing - after these two stories - I stood in awe of the Lord's power and mercy! It is unlike any story or life that I have seen or heard about at home - God is truly delivering souls from bondage ... something that only HIS hand could do!
