VBS & Shadai School

We have had a busy couple of days!  On Saturday, we hosted another day of VBS in the local park.  The neighborhood that we pulled from was one of the lowest income neighborhoods in the city.  The kids were precious - so excited to see us again and ready for fun!

These sweet girls could not leave the park - they kept turning back around to me
for another hug.  It was the best moment of the day!

On Sunday, we spent most of the day resting at the house.  We went to an English speaking service around 4pm.  It was wonderful to be in a worship service - we are really missing our MRBC family!  We ended the day with a dinner at Teriyaki Experience - Daniel was in heaven :)
Monday morning, we woke up bright and early to head to another school in the city.  Lesly, one of the team leaders from the STEM team, works at a bilingual school called the Shadai school.  This school was amazing!  They were trying to recruit me to come here ... and it is something that I could really see myself doing!

Here are some pictures from our time at the school :)

Pre School building - how CUTE is this?

I talked to the k-3rd graders in an assembly.  I told them that I was a teacher
from SC and taught them all how to say "Hey Y'all!" :)  It was a hoot!

Puppet show for the kids

Making balloon animals for the preschoolers

They loved it!

Me with Victoria -  she was SUCH a happy girl :)

Brea in a sword fight with the kiddos :)

Daniel and their teacher - he made her a special hat :)

A view of the school as we were leaving :)

I will post more soon - we have a TON of other pictures that we can't wait to share!  We had our farewell dinner last night with the STEM team - and it was amazing!  I will hopefully put those pictures up tomorrow!  We love you ALL and can't wait to get LOTS of hugs!

Keep praying - we really need them ... pray for the Lord to be glorified in all that we do and say as we minister to those around us!
