The Little Things

Yesterday, we spent some time in the city.  We had some errands to run and take care of - and we ended up on our own!  Daniel, Brea, and I had so much fun navigating the city streets together.

This is a picture of the church in the city - right in town square you will always find a Catholic church - and this one was beautiful!
Can you see us? :)

After walking around and taking care of errands, we had to find the bus that we needed to get back to the house.  We got the run around from a few different locals - and with my limited Spanish I tried to understand where they were directing us.  We ended up on a bus that they told us that was heading to the right area - but we just didn't feel settled.  Daniel told us that he wanted to go across the street to the other bus that was loading and take that chance.

When we got on the bus, I heard "Mami!  Laura!" in the sweetest little Spanish voice!   It was the David, the son of one of the helpers at Rick's house - and I was SO relieved to see them on the bus.

The Lord is so faithful - He lead us to the correct bus and cofirmed it through the sweetest little voice!  In a city of over 1 million people, what are the chances of them being on the same bus?

It was such an awesome God moment for me - I see Him in EVERYTHING here! :)

Daniel finally got to ride a horse yesterday - he's been dying to ride a horse here since we arrived!  A local guard in the neighborhood has gone by a few times on his horse ... and he finally stopped and let Daniel take a ride.  He loved it!

Please continue to pray for us as we seek the Lord's will and guidance while we are here serving in Honduras.  Ultimately, we want to glorify His great name in all that is said and done!  We are so excited for the 2nd half of our trip.  We know that great things are in store.  Thank you for your love, prayers, and support!  We can't wait to share what happens next!
